Effective October 31, 2026. This policy describes how Dawn Harbor, operated by Kiectry, handles information when you use our fantasy naming website. Contact timni8016@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests. Correspondence address: No. 76 Mingzhu Avenue, Huaxi District, Guiyang, Guizhou, China.
1. Scope and information we handle
The current site does not require accounts, accept payments, or provide a public publishing area. Name generation happens in your browser. Settings, required roots, excluded words, and generated stories are not submitted by the application to a naming server. Please avoid entering confidential personal information into creative fields.
When a page or asset is requested, hosting and network providers necessarily process connection information such as IP address, requested URL, browser headers, approximate request time, and technical security data. Provider logging and retention are controlled by the hosting service, not by a fixed retention period promised here. This data supports delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and security.
2. Browser storage and favorites
If you save a name, the application stores the result, its selected dimensions, and its story notes in local storage under dawn-harbor-saved. This persists until you remove a favorite, clear the collection, clear site data, or your browser removes it. It remains on this browser profile and is not intentionally synchronized by Dawn Harbor. Other people using the same browser profile may see it. Private browsing and storage restrictions can prevent persistence.
Use Saved Names to export your collection or remove it. Browser settings can also delete local storage. We cannot restore a collection after deletion because the application keeps no remote copy. Export files are created locally; you choose where to store and share them.
3. Contact messages
The contact form prepares a mailto draft in your email application. It does not transmit the form to a site database. If you send the draft, your email provider and our mailbox provider process the message, sender address, timestamps, attachments you add, and other email metadata. We use the information to answer your request, investigate a reported issue, and maintain necessary correspondence. Do not send passwords, identity documents, financial account numbers, or sensitive personal records.
We aim to retain ordinary correspondence only as long as necessary for the request and related follow-up, generally up to 24 months after resolution. Records may be kept longer when necessary for a legal obligation, unresolved dispute, or security investigation. Ask us to delete a message and we will review the request and any applicable retention requirement.
4. Fonts, hosting, and external links
The website requests DM Sans and Manrope fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s font domains, which receive connection information including IP address and browser headers. A system-font fallback is used if the fonts do not load. See Google Fonts privacy information. External links and email services have their own policies. We do not control their processing after you leave our pages.
5. Analytics and advertising status
This build does not include Google Analytics, an AdSense tag, an Ad Manager/AdX tag, marketing pixels, or third-party advertising cookies added by Dawn Harbor. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The presence of this policy does not indicate advertising approval or an active relationship with Google’s advertising products.
If advertising is introduced, the policy and advertising disclosure must be updated before the relevant processing starts. Depending on the implementation, Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, local identifiers, web beacons, IP addresses, and device or browsing signals to deliver ads, limit frequency, prevent fraud, and measure performance. Personalized advertising may involve processing across websites or services. Any required consent mechanism must operate before nonessential advertising technologies load.
For Google services generally, see Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Those links explain possible third-party practices; they do not mean this build is already using advertising services.
6. Purposes and legal grounds
Where relevant law requires a legal basis, responding to a request and providing requested browser functionality may be based on steps you ask us to take; reliable delivery and proportionate security may be based on legitimate interests; mandatory records may be based on legal obligations. Consent is used where required for nonessential technologies. Applicable grounds depend on the processing and your jurisdiction. You can withdraw consent for future optional processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Sharing and international processing
Information may be processed by infrastructure, font, security, and email providers to perform the functions described above. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to meet a valid legal requirement, protect rights, investigate abuse, or complete a legitimate business transfer with appropriate notice. We do not publish your contact messages. Providers and the operator may process information in countries other than your own, including China and countries in which the relevant provider operates. Applicable transfer safeguards must be considered when legally required; this policy does not claim a certification we have not obtained.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Some US state laws may also provide rights concerning targeted advertising, sale or sharing, and appeals from a denied request. The present build does not engage in sale, cross-context advertising sharing, or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Email a request with enough context to locate the information, such as the address used for a contact message. We may ask for proportionate verification; do not send an identity document unless a secure and necessary process has been agreed. We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and answer within 30 days, subject to applicable statutory deadlines and permitted extensions. You will not be penalized for exercising a legally protected right. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the basis and any available appeal route.
For local favorites, the most direct control is the collection’s removal function or your browser’s site-data settings. We cannot remotely identify or delete data stored only on your device. There are currently no behavioral advertising tags for a Global Privacy Control signal to disable. Do Not Track signals do not change essential delivery.
9. Children
Dawn Harbor is a general-audience creative resource and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through accounts or public submissions. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information can contact us to request review and deletion. If advertising or child-directed features are introduced, age-related requirements must be assessed before launch.
10. Security, limits, and updates
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a small static website and limit application data collection. No internet transmission, browser storage, or email system is completely secure. Avoid confidential material in names and messages. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and, where appropriate, a visible notice or renewed consent. This policy describes current behavior rather than promising that third-party systems never change.
